Chris Harris’s Clipper Race Talk 2026

Chris took part in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race in the 2015-16 edition even though he had very little previous experience of sailing. He went on to become the global Communications Manager for the Clipper Race and, as Crew Recruitment Director, is now responsible for recruiting new crew to have their own adventure of a lifetime.

One of the biggest challenges of the natural world and an endurance test like no other, the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is a record-breaking 40,000 nautical mile race around the world on a 70-foot ocean racing yacht with the route divided into eight legs and between 13 and 16 individual races including six ocean crossings.

This will be a fascinating and absorbing talk with much to learn for us all.
