SUMMARY:Swanage Day Trip 2026
DESCRIPTION:This cruise is ldeal for people who want to experience getting out of Poole Harbour and have a sail in company past the magnificent Old Harry Rocks and Ballard Down to Swanage where we will be able to stop for a few hours for lunch before returning to the Poole Yacht Club. \nThis cruise will be using the Swange Sailing Club moorings but due to important structual work being carried out on the club house we have not been able to book lunch there this time. We have explored a number of alternative options\, but despite our best efforts we have not been able to secure a replacement venue for lunch. With this in mind\, we reluctantly suggest that each skipper make their own arrangements for lunch with their crew on the day. \nThe water taxi should be able to drop us off at the floating pontoon by the pier\, and return us to our yachts at an agreed time for the return trip. \nSunday 12th April 2026 \n \nBefore you book this or any other cruise please make sure you are registered\, see here for all Booking System Information\nIf you are already registered then please book this cruise and any others you would like to participate in on our booking form\nPLEASE NOTE: We are now putting a Cut-Off point 1 week before the departure date for all this year’s bookings to help with notifying the marinas and venues.\nOnce your Booking Form has been sent you will immediately receive a confirmation/payment email from our new booking system with the PYCCS bank account details into which you should pay your Lunch fees for this cruise. DESCRIPTION:One man’s boat bits is another man’s treasure\, so don’t miss the chance to clear out all your unused or used boat stuff that you no longer need or use. \nWe are setting up in and around the Academy and Car Park by the PYC Haven Office. You can book a parking/boot space\, a Boat space\, or an undercover table space\, see below for space sizes. All proceeds go to the Commodores Charity. \nThis is your chance to have a clear out\, and it’s now takes the place of the PYC boat auction\, so we hope you take the chance to sell all your unwanted boat jumble to make some money\, and help others that need your no longer needed boat equipment and stuff. \nThere are three types of selling spots available: \n1. Car Park/Boot Space. £15 \n2. Boat Space (max. 5 meters). £15 \n3. Undercover Table Space (size approx. 0.8m x 2m) Only 15 of these spaces are available. £15
